This year Q-Sense is coming to you! A series of high class scientific meetings will take place in America, Asia and Europe. Our European customers have already had the chance to meet in Gothenburg and the fall brings two new meetings, this time in Asia and America.

The European meeting, held in February in Göteborg, was co-hosted by Chalmers University of Technology. The meeting included speakers such as Prof. Bengt Kasemo (Chalmers) and Prof. Janos Vörös (ETHZ), and 21 other oral and poster contributions. The theme was “Powerful combinations with QCM-D”, and covered a broad range of combination applications. The two days allowed for many interesting discussions where users as well as Q-Sense specialists shared their thoughts and ideas on the latest within QCM-D research.

Chairman Fredrik Höök showed encouraging statistics on citations, and concluded that Dr. Ralf Richter’s work “Pathways of lipid vesicle deposition on solid surfaces: A combined QCM-D and AFM study”, Biophysical Journal 2003, is the most cited QCM-D work. We were pleased to hear Dr. Richter himself talk at our meeting as well!

Join us for another two interesting and inspiring scientific meetings covering the continuously increasing QCM-D research world-wide!
