New biotin sensor

Thursday, March 18, 2010

Q-Sense has developed a new ready-to-use biotin functionalized sensor for the Q-Sense E4 and Q-Sense E1 systems; the Q-Sense Biotin Functionalized Sensor, QSX 339. The sensor enables label-free measurements of biomolecular interactions. Studies can be conveniently performed by immobilizing one of the interacting species onto the surface of the sensor. Q-Sense Biotin Sensor enables immobilization via the commonly used high affinity interaction between Biotin and Streptavidin.

Q-Sense delivers QSX 339 as single sensors, dark-packed to minimize light exposure that would otherwise degrade the Biotin functionality. The sensor has proven activity after 8 weeks of storage. QSX 339 can be used with your streptavidin or avidin analogue of choice.
